"The Bull" Bozan |
Erik
Bozan was born in Manhattan, New
York, July 11, 1968. Lived there
until joining the army at the
age of 22 and was stationed in
Hawaii. He started boxing in
Hawaii and won 3 Smokers from
1990-1994. He was released from
the military in 1994. In 1997
competed in Golden Gloves Open
Heavyweight Division in NY,
missing the finals by only one
fight.
In 2002 Erik moved to Las Vegas
and returned to boxing in 2006
where he has trained under Steve
Boe @ Boe Boxing & Fitness.
He is a dedicated and determined
fighter with amazing power,
accuracy and can take a punch!
Erik's Puerto Rican decent comes
through in his spice for life.
He was raised by his mother who
passed away in 2007. Erik
dedicates this fight and those
in his future to her loving
memory.

And from LVBoxing.com:
"Heavyweights Eric Bozan
(0-0) of Las Vegas and Charles
Presnell (0-1-0) of Reno met in
a preliminary bout scheduled for
four rounds. Let me preface the
blow by blow by saying that this
fight was unusual because Bozan,
who trains at Boe's Boxing,
makes his pro debut at 40 years
old. We really didn't get to see
much of what Bozan has because
in just 22 seconds he landed a
series of unanswered blows to
the body and head of a hapless
Presnell forcing Referee Joe
Cortez to step between the
boxers and stop the bout. Bozan
starts his professional boxing
career with a TKO victory in
round one."
